Description
The Town of Orrington is soliciting bids for construction of a boat landing on the Penobscot River, including an access roadway, parking lots, and a boat launch. All federal, state, and local permits have been obtained. Intertidal work on the boat launch is restricted to late fall, while upland work can commence immediately. The project is funded by Greenfield Environmental Trust in conjunction with Mallinckrodt. Jacobs is the marine engineer of record and designed the project. A complete bid package is available on the Town of Orrington website. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM, followed by a site visit at approximately 10:30 AM.
