Description
The Brewer School Department is soliciting proposals for the preparation of the Brewer Athletic Complex Phase II, located behind Brewer High School. The project includes site survey and layout, erosion control, earthwork cuts and fills, storm water drainage improvements, turf field drainage and base gravels, tennis and pickleball court construction including base gravels, asphalt paving, rubberized surface, net posts and nets, painted playing lines, sidewalk base gravels and asphalt, fencing and gates, relocation of existing scoreboard, concrete pads for bleacher areas, and topsoil and seeding of disturbed areas. Exclusions include permits, bonds, geotechnical testing, contaminated soil handling, unsuitable soil excavation, bedrock drilling, synthetic turf surfacing, electrical work, and team shelters. The contractor must start between July 31 and August 31, 2023, and complete by November 17, 2023. Selection criteria include compliance with specifications, meeting schedule, quality performance history, and ability to partner with engineering firms.
