Description
The City of Bangor is soliciting bids for one new, current-year compact tractor furnished and delivered to the City's Fleet Maintenance Division. The tractor must have a 25-50 horsepower engine, four-wheel drive, less than 70 inches of width without attachments, at least 12 inches of ground clearance, R-14 tires with loaded rear tires, a front-end loader with bucket and skid-steer quick-attach system, manual gear transmission, open operator station, Category I three-point hitch, and a plumbed third-function valve with flat-face fittings. The equipment package must also include two operator manuals and two service manuals, each with one written and one electronic copy, a Category I three-point forestry winch with 6,600-7,250-pound pulling capacity, and a 48-72-inch dual-cylinder root/brush grapple plumbed with flat-face fittings. Equipment must be inspected, serviced, and ready for use upon delivery, with the full factory warranty as nationally advertised. The City will consider an unsold previous-year model if it meets or exceeds the specifications. Bidders must submit the completed Bid Form and any applicable exceptions.
