Description
The City of Bangor is soliciting bids for one new, current-year flex wing rotary cutter, furnished and delivered FOB destination to the City's Fleet Maintenance Division. An unsold previous-year model may be offered if it meets or exceeds the specifications. The cutter must have at least a 12-foot cutting width, a maximum 7-foot transport width, adjustable cutting height from 1.5 to 14 inches, hydraulic wing and height cylinders, at least four wheels plus one spare wheel and tire, gear-box-driven blades, a swivel clevis self-leveling lift hitch, a spare set of cutter blades and related parts, and written and electronic operator and service manuals. The bid must include full factory warranty coverage as nationally advertised and at least a 10-year warranty on the gear boxes. The equipment must be inspected, serviced, and ready for use upon delivery.
