Description
The City of Bangor Department of Public Works is soliciting bids for the purchase and delivery of one new, current-production HydroSeeder, Model T75 or approved equivalent. The unit must be suitable for municipal turf establishment, erosion control, roadside stabilization, and related public works operations. Minimum requirements include an approximately 750-gallon tank; trailer-mounted configuration; heavy-duty steel construction; mechanical agitation and hydraulic recirculation; gasoline or diesel engine; centrifugal pump for mulch, seed, fertilizer, and tackifier slurries; at least 100 feet of discharge hose with hose reel; remote discharge nozzle; electric start; roadway-compliant trailer equipment; corrosion-resistant finish; safety equipment and guards; operating and maintenance documentation; a two-year or 2,000-hour warranty; mounted spare tire and wheel; and a two-inch pump-fill package. The bid must include the completed Bid Form, and any approved-equal product must identify deviations and provide supporting literature. Price must include transportation and other miscellaneous charges.
