Description
Lake County Watershed Protection District is seeking a qualified contractor to perform habitat enhancement and channel restoration along approximately one mile of Scotts Creek. Work includes mobilization and site preparation, vegetation removal, invasive-biomass management, temporary water diversion, excavation of accumulated sediment and gravel, material handling or disposal, erosion and sediment controls, demobilization, and restoration of disturbed areas. The contractor must coordinate with the District regarding access, work limits, environmental requirements, and tribal cultural resources monitoring during ground-disturbing activities. The proposal must include a cover letter, company profile, work plan, project schedule, detailed cost proposal, and a 5% bid bond of $5,000. The anticipated budget is approximately $100,000. A 100% performance bond and 100% payment bond will be required from the awardee.
