Description
The City of Piqua is soliciting a manufacturer or supplier to design, fabricate, hot-dip galvanize, and deliver steel structures for the 69kV The Site Substation and Washington Road 69kV Transmission Line projects. The scope includes substation steel structures, H-frame assemblies, vee-switch and bus-support structures, metering and transformer structures, grounding platforms, a 50-foot static mast, and seven self-supporting steel poles for transmission-line locations P-1, P-2, P-17, P-18, P-28, P-29, and P-62. Materials must comply with the specified ASTM, AISC, AWS, and related standards, with shop welding, bolted field connections, galvanized components, inspection, testing, identification, packing, and delivery included. The engineer's estimate is $680,000. Bidders must use the provided forms and submit the proposal, required affidavits, qualifications, equipment and performance data, subcontractor and manufacturer information, addenda acknowledgment, and bid guaranty. The solicitation permits submission through Bid Express, email, or sealed hard copy. A 10% bid guaranty is required by bond or an accepted certified/cashier's check or letter of credit; a 100% performance-payment bond is required under the stated conditions.
