Southern Columbia Area is soliciting bids for a comprehensive list of metal shop supplies for the 2019-2020 school year. The bid includes items such as layout fluid and cleaner, polyester brushes, flap wheels, angle grinders, safety glasses, cordless drill sets, tape measures, WD-40, various drill bits, mig wire, flux coated bronze rod, portable band saw blades, thread cutting oil, aviation snips, pocket scribers, toolbox kits, ear plugs, push brooms, hacksaw blades, petro bond molding sand, non-silica parting compound, aluminum alloy, foundry bench rammers, epoxy, super glue, hand cleaner, welding clamps, needle nose vise grips, utility knives, propane fuel cylinders, torch heads, acetone, lacquer thinner, petro bond oil, wire wheels, paint, steel wool, welding jackets, impact accessory kits, extractor and drill sets, reciprocating saw blades, sanitized wipers, large diameter drill bit sets, and compressor accessory kits. Additionally, the bid includes various metal stock materials cut to 10-foot lengths: hot rolled square tubing, hot rolled round bar, flat bar, sheet metal, cold rolled round, black iron pipe, and aluminum round bar.
