Description
Greenville Utilities Commission is soliciting sealed bids for approximately 110 tubular steel transmission structures, including single-pole and H-frame structures identified in Attachment A. The scope includes engineering and design, materials, welding, inspection and testing, protective coatings, drawings, anchor bolts, base plates, hardware, structure markings, assembly and erection documentation, and delivery. Structures must generally be galvanized steel, comply with specified ASTM, ASCE, ACI, AWS, ANSI, SSPC/NACE, and RUS requirements, and include the components necessary for complete structures. Bidders must submit pricing and design information on the enclosed proposal form, identify manufacturers, provide estimated quantities and delivery times, and state any exceptions or substitutions. The total bid will be evaluated primarily on delivery and price per pound of steel, with references also considered. The bid must include 5% bid security, either as cash, cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond. The proposal package requires two hard copies and one electronic copy and must include only the specified bid security, proposal form, cost form, exception form, E-Verify form(s), and any applicable bid bond materials.
