Description
The City of Tampa is soliciting sealed bids for assorted new, unused, commercial-quality steel parts to support repairs of front-end load containers, compactors, roll-offs, and a waste-to-energy facility. The requested materials include steel and diamond plates, sheet metal, angle iron, flat bars, solid bars, channels, square and rectangular tubing, carbon and stainless steel products, rebar, and Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 pipe in specified sizes and quantities across two divisions. Pricing must include FOB delivery to the Solid Waste Container Shop and Waste to Energy Plant. The award is for an as-needed, one-year period, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual written agreement and up to three unilateral 30-day extensions. Materials must be factory-fresh, not repackaged or aftermarket, and delivered within 15 working days after receipt of order. Bids are evaluated electronically through the OpenGov portal, with a five percent evaluation discount, capped at $10,000, for City-certified Small Local Business Enterprises (SLBEs).
