Description

This two-step construction solicitation covers coordinated improvements in the City of Seminole, Florida: approximately 500 linear feet of new 12-inch PVC sanitary sewer, six four-foot manholes, removal or abandonment of existing sewer facilities, stormwater inlet replacement, a modified bioswale, pavement replacement, and fire-hydrant relocation; and approximately 680 linear feet of replacement 6-inch potable water main along 113th Street North between 84th Avenue and 82nd Avenue North. The water-main work also includes service transfers, valves, hydrant replacement, system connections, testing, disinfection, and restoration of roads, sidewalks, driveways, landscaping, and other disturbed features. The contractor must coordinate the overlapping project limits, traffic control, utility shutdowns, bypass pumping, dewatering, erosion and sedimentation controls, testing, permits, record documentation, and final restoration. The work must be completed within 380 consecutive calendar days after notice to proceed. Step One requires qualification information, bonding capacity, similar-project references, and either applicable Florida Department of Transportation prequalification documentation or a Florida Certified General Contractor license; Step Two requires the bid submission and pricing proposal.
