Description
Allen Water District is soliciting sealed, unit-price construction bids for the Baty & Neely Road Waterline Improvements project. The work includes approximately 2,500 linear feet of 8-inch waterline to complete a loop of an existing waterline, including native and granular backfill, directional boring, water service lines, valves, fittings, fire hydrant assemblies, a meter vault, and connection to the existing waterline. Additional bid items include clearing and grubbing, tree and stump removal, sign removal and re-erection, catch basin removal and installation, storm sewer repairs, traffic maintenance, seeding and mulching, construction staking, and project allowances. The engineer's estimate is $400,000, and the bid must use the provided bid forms. Bid security is required as either a 100% bid guaranty bond or specified alternative security of at least 10% of the bid amount; the successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond. Ohio prevailing-wage and insurance requirements also apply.
