Description
The City of Woodland is soliciting sealed bids for construction of the Lemen Avenue Utility Improvements Project, CIP 26-15. The work includes approximately 305 linear feet of water pipe with laterals, one fire hydrant, and relocation of two water meter services; approximately 660 linear feet of sanitary sewer pipe with laterals, three manholes, two cleanouts, a connection to an existing manhole, and removal of an existing manhole; and approximately 550 linear feet of storm drain pipe with four manholes, two curb-inlet activities, and a connection to an existing vault-style manhole. The project also includes potholing, bypass pumping, trench plating, excavation support, pavement and concrete removal and replacement, approximately 24,900 square feet of two-inch asphalt mill and overlay, landscape restoration, erosion-control best management practices, construction surveying and staking, traffic control, and restoration of pavement striping. The estimated base-bid cost is $650,000 to $750,000. Bidders must hold a current California Class A General Engineering Contractor's License and comply with public-works registration, prevailing-wage, bonding, insurance, and self-performance requirements. The contractor must self-perform at least 30% of the work.
