Kiewit/FCI Partnership is requesting proposals and qualifications from subcontractors for early work bid packages supporting the Aspen Pitkin County Airport Terminal Modernization project. Requested scopes include electrical; mechanical systems, including plumbing and HVAC; mass timber; elevator and escalator systems; and baggage-handling systems. The project includes a new airport terminal, surface parking, entrance and exit roads, consolidated rental car facilities, part of the commercial apron, and related infrastructure. It also includes deconstruction of the existing terminal and completion of remaining apron and landside improvements after the new terminal is commissioned and opened in 2029. Bonding may be required, and the partnership may assist qualified firms with obtaining bonds, lines of credit, and insurance.
