Description
Orange County OC Public Works is soliciting bids for ongoing electrical systems maintenance, repair, alteration, installation, and emergency response services at multiple county-owned and leased facilities, including remotely located installations. The scope includes power feeders, switchgear, motor control center panels, distribution panels, subpanels, transformers, circuit breakers, disconnects, internal wiring, lighting components, switches, outlets, timers, and electrical connections for HVAC, boilers, chillers, alarms, security, telecommunications, data, and other electrically powered equipment. Work must comply with the latest National Electrical Code, applicable local requirements, and industry standards. The contractor must provide qualified journeyman electricians, emergency call-out availability, required tools and equipment, a valid California C-10 electrical contractor license, Department of Industrial Relations registration, prevailing-wage compliance, and personnel capable of passing facility background clearances. Bidders must submit hourly labor rates and markups for parts, materials, miscellaneous items, and rental equipment through the electronic bidding system. The initial contract term is three calendar years beginning January 10, 2027, with no guaranteed usage. Required response information includes company qualifications, licenses and registrations, references, staffing information, certifications, non-collusion and campaign-contribution forms, and other supplier-response forms.
