Description
The City of Vernon is seeking bona fide electrical contractors with a minimum of three years of experience for inclusion on a two-year pre-qualified contractor list. Contractors must have at least one Field Safety Representative with an FSR B Ticket on staff and must provide all labor, equipment, and machinery necessary to complete electrical service work when called upon. Applicants must satisfy minimum WorkSafeBC clearance, business license, commercial general liability insurance, and vehicle insurance requirements. Public liability insurance of $2,000,000 is required, naming the City of Vernon and the Regional District of the North Okanagan as additional insureds. The City will develop a call-out list based on rates, work experience and references, availability, and equipment; submitted pricing is binding. Contractors may also be required to provide fuel-consumption data for contracted services exceeding $25,000 per year.
