Description
Pierce Transit seeks a contractor to furnish labor, equipment, and materials for on-call miscellaneous electrical services. The scope may include installing electric vehicle chargers, installing uninterruptible power supplies, troubleshooting and repairing electronic signs, repairing or installing lighting at bus stops, transit centers, and park-and-ride lots, supporting staff-office reconfigurations, assessing power supplies, installing LED lighting, and installing or repairing electrical meters. The contract will not exceed $100,000 including applicable taxes and will expire one calendar year after the Notice to Proceed or when the maximum amount has been expended, whichever occurs first. If funds remain at the end of the term, the contract may be extended for one additional year by mutual agreement. Sealed bids must be submitted by the stated deadline and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the $100,000 maximum contract amount. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
