Description
The City of Goodyear Parks and Recreation Department is requesting competitive quotes from qualified, licensed electrical contractors to provide as-needed maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, emergency response, and installation services for electrical systems at city-operated parks and recreational facilities. The scope includes lighting, panels, switches, outlets, controls, wiring, conduit, breakers, receptacles, irrigation-related electrical components, pumps, timers, circuits, and energy-efficient or LED upgrades. Contractors must be equipped and qualified to service lighting fixtures and poles up to 80 feet, provide emergency on-site response within two hours, respond to non-emergency requests within 48 hours, restore power-loss events within one week, and complete other repairs within two weeks unless otherwise approved. Quotes must include labor rates for regular, after-hours, weekend, holiday, and elevated-lighting work; material markups; applicable trip or vehicle charges; scheduling and completion timelines; minimum service charges; warranty information; and manufacturer specifications for proposed substitutions. The contractor must hold an appropriate Arizona electrical contractor license and submit proof of insurance with the quote. The City may award contracts to multiple vendors. The contract has an initial term beginning at award with four additional one-year renewal options, not to exceed five years.
