Description
Kern High School District is soliciting a lump-sum bid for Phase Seven of its video surveillance installation project. The contractor must provide and install the cabling system and install owner-supplied Bosch cameras and related hardware to deliver a complete, operating security camera system. The work is subject to the specified California contractor licensing requirements, prevailing-wage and public-works compliance requirements, and Department of Industrial Relations registration. The estimated bid value is $250,000. The project is scheduled to begin October 19, 2026 and must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days after the deadline to commence work. A 10% bid bond or other bid security is required, along with 100% payment and performance bonds. The solicitation also requires submission of multiple bid forms and certifications, including the bid form, subcontractor list, substitution forms, non-collusion declaration, sufficient-funds declaration, asbestos and lead exclusions, contractor qualification questionnaire when applicable, bid security, and applicable DVBE participation or good-faith-effort documentation.
