Description
Reeves County is soliciting proposals from a qualified electrical contractor for a new electrical service to power a tire shredder. The scope includes installing wiring, receptacles, light fixtures, conductors, conduits, terminations, and a five-section motor control center. The County will provide the motor control center, devices, and controls; the contractor must furnish and install the control wiring and complete terminations in accordance with the provided schematics, electrical drawings, equipment submittals, National Electrical Code requirements, and field conditions. The contractor must have at least one licensed electrician on staff and provide the labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, transportation, testing, cleanup, and other work necessary to complete the project. PLC programming, HMI programming, and startup services will be provided by EcoGreen. Proposals are evaluated on cost, relevant industrial electrical experience and past performance, personnel qualifications, project approach, schedule, safety, and references. A surety letter stating bonding capacity and intent to bond is required with the proposal; payment and performance bonds are required from the awarded contractor when applicable under the stated thresholds.
