Description
The Citrus County School Board is soliciting sealed bids from pre-qualified prime contractors for the 2027–4627 Electrical MDP Replacement project at Citrus High School and Inverness Primary School. The work includes furnishing all labor and materials and performing all necessary and incidental work associated with replacing the electrical main distribution panels at both schools. Prime contractors must hold a Citrus County School Board Certificate of Pre-qualification before submitting a bid, and bids must fall within the limits stated on the contractor’s certificate. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for prime contractors. The award is expected to go to the lowest responsive bidder, subject to the Board’s rights to waive irregularities or reject bids. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check of at least 5% of the maximum bid amount; the successful bidder must provide a surety bond equal to 100% of the contract amount.
