Coastal Alabama Community College is soliciting prequalification proposals and sealed bids from general contractors for building improvements at its Fairhope campus. The work includes demolition, metal stud wall construction, electrical and mechanical work, medical equipment installation, project coordination and supervision, and related work shown in the bid and construction documents. Contractors must submit prequalification materials before bidding. Prequalified bidders must use the Architect's proposal forms, display their current Alabama general contractor license number on the sealed envelope, and include it on the Proposal Form. The project is bid excluding taxes, and the contractor must comply with Alabama Act 2013-205 and account for applicable tax savings on the proposal form. Bid documents are available through the Architect by digital access or file sharing, subject to the stated deposit requirements.
