Description
The City of Fresno is soliciting bids for construction improvements at Logan Park. The work includes installing one eight-foot single-post swing set with four swings—two standard adult seats, one toddler bucket seat, and one accessible swing seat—along with poured-in-place resilient playground surfacing and a concrete header. The project also includes expansion of the soft-fall area, a drainage sump, four-foot chain-link fencing and accessible gates, and one new bench. Additional work includes general clearing, demolition, grading and earthwork, planting two specified 24-inch-box shade trees, installing sod and mulch, and modifying the irrigation system. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A contractor's license and comply with prevailing-wage and public-works requirements. The contract requires 45 working days from the Notice to Proceed, and payment and performance bonds of 100 percent are required for applicable contracts of $25,000 or more.
