Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities, is soliciting multiple agency-specific contracts for as-needed locum tenens coverage at its healthcare facilities. Required personnel may include psychologists, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, family medicine providers, laboratory specialists, physical and occupational therapists, speech therapists, radiology specialists, optometrists, dentists, cardiopulmonary professionals, and pharmacists. Providers must perform services within the scope of their licenses, certifications, and training and participate in facility orientation, clinical care, interdisciplinary activities, documentation, and applicable infection-control and vaccination requirements. The vendor must recruit and present qualified providers, verify licensure, reimburse provider fees, provide malpractice coverage, and support facility credentialing and quality-assurance requirements. The initial contract term is three years from final contract execution, with the intent to award multiple contracts. Bids are evaluated primarily on responsiveness, qualifications, required verifications, references, financial documentation, and lowest price meeting the specifications. Responses must be submitted electronically through the State's Ariba Sourcing Tool.
