Description
The Park Board of Trustees of the City of Galveston is requesting proposals for as-needed contract labor to supplement its staff during peak operational demands. The selected provider will furnish general laborers for tasks such as servicing trash receptacles, litter and debris removal, vehicle cleaning, minor paint touch-ups, and collection of driftwood and other debris. Work will generally begin and end at the Park Board's reporting location, and laborers must provide their own transportation. The Park Board will provide water, ice, and necessary supplies and materials. The Park Board anticipates approximately 4,000 contract labor hours annually but guarantees no minimum or maximum usage. Services are primarily expected from March through October, with additional work possible throughout the year. Proposals must provide an all-inclusive hourly rate, references for up to three recent projects, and the completed bid tabulation covering five annual pricing periods. The submission package must include the required signed forms and certifications included in the solicitation, including conflict-of-interest, property-tax, trade-secret/confidentiality, nepotism, non-collusion, and applicable federal debarment certifications.
