Description
The Florida Department of Commerce seeks proposals for statewide, as-needed temporary disaster-recovery staffing and training services supporting 21 Local Workforce Development Boards across 67 counties. The contractor will provide workers for disaster-related cleanup, repair, restoration, and humanitarian assistance; serve as employer of record; administer payroll and employment records; and support worker deployment under local purchase orders. The scope includes temporary personnel across administrative, environmental, social-service, maintenance, construction, transportation, logistics, and labor occupations, along with safety and soft-skills training, electronic timekeeping, field supervision, jobsite safety inspections, background screening, reporting, invoicing, and related employment compliance. The solicitation remains open through September 21, 2026, and Addendum 2 provides questions and answers.
