Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs amended its intent to award a one-time, firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract for two GE VSCAN Air CL handheld ultrasound systems, two GE VSCAN Air SL systems, a charger, Venue Sprint FOCUS R6, Caption Cardiac Guidance, a C7 United States and Canada power cord, and related training for the Togus VA Medical Center. The devices are intended for use by qualified healthcare professionals for point-of-care diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound guidance, visualization, and measurement. The requirement is restricted to GE because the devices must integrate with the facility’s existing GE CASE, GE MUSE, and related GE cardiology and imaging systems. The amendment states that TrillaMed LLC is the sole OEM-authorized SDVOSB distributor capable of meeting the VA procurement hierarchy and Trade Agreements Act requirements through government contract NAC IDIQ 36H79719D0007. The notice is an intent to sole source and expressly states that it is not a request for competitive proposals or offers.
