Description
Suwannee County School District is soliciting a turnkey replacement of the existing gas-fired heating hot-water boiler at Suwannee Middle School. The work includes removal and disposal of the existing boiler; furnishing and installing a 2,500 MBH high-efficiency condensing natural-gas boiler, such as an AERCO Benchmark K-2500 or approved equivalent; installing a circulation/feed pump; modifying piping, venting, condensate, electrical, and controls; and providing required accessories, safeties, sensors, valves, and related materials. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, materials, rigging, transportation, startup, testing, cleanup, manufacturer-authorized commissioning, combustion analysis, operator training, manuals, warranty information, and coordination of shutdowns. Proposals must include itemized pricing and identify the proposed equipment, performance characteristics, warranties, lead time, installation duration, and any applicable alternates or additional work. A bonding-agent letter is required, and performance and payment bonds at 100% of contract value may be required; insurance requirements include workers’ compensation and $1,000,000 general liability limits.
