Description
The contractor will inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm, fire suppression, sprinkler, fire extinguisher, kitchen hood suppression, fire hydrant, fire department connection, fire-rated door/window, and exit-light systems. Scope also includes continuous 24/7 off-site fire alarm monitoring, emergency and non-emergency response, fire alarm battery replacement, kitchen hood cleaning, and annual hands-on training for facility staff. Required personnel include NICET-certified technicians and manufacturer-trained/certified personnel for the specified systems. The contractor must provide web-based inspection and service records, required inspection reports, and updated AutoCAD fire alarm drawings. The solicitation includes a base period and four one-year option periods. It is set aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, and the offer must include the required subcontracting-compliance certification, technical and management plans, pricing, and specified business licenses and certifications.
