Description
San Joaquin County Public Works seeks qualifications from firms to provide on-call construction management, construction administration, and inspection support for varied public works projects. Potential assignments include roadway, sidewalk, waterline, and bridge work, as well as construction document reviews, surveying and staking, environmental and biological monitoring, arborist assessments, labor compliance, materials testing coordination, public outreach, cost control, and project closeout. Specific scopes, schedules, and pricing will be established for individual assignments; the selected firms will provide services only after receiving an executed purchase order and written notice to proceed. The County expects to select up to four firms for an on-call list. The list is initially for two years, with extension options. Each firm's authorized assignments are capped at $200,000 per fiscal year, and selection does not guarantee a minimum number or value of assignments. Subconsultants may be used with prior written approval. The Statement of Qualifications is limited to 25 single-sided pages, excluding an optional one-page table of contents, folders, and cover. A schedule of costs and fees is requested only from firms selected for the on-call list.
