Description
The Town of Oro Valley is soliciting proposals from a single contractor to provide comprehensive custodial services across Town facilities. The scope includes routine interior cleaning; restroom sanitation and stocking; floor, carpet, glass, window, and high-touch surface care; waste and recycling removal; event and emergency cleaning; floor scrubbing, stripping, waxing, polishing, burnishing, and carpet extraction; and facility disinfection or pathogen fogging when requested. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, tools, cleaning chemicals, materials, and tenant consumables, including paper products, soap, hygiene supplies, and trash liners. Responsibilities also include inventory management, quality-control inspections, safety data sheet management, employee background checks and CJIS clearances where applicable, annual schedules, pandemic and infectious-disease response planning, OSHA compliance, and a local office within a 45-minute drive. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications and experience, method of approach, and price. The initial contract term is two years, with five additional one-year renewal options.
