Description
The City seeks a qualified firm to provide plan review and building inspection services for projects that arise during the contract period. Work includes reviewing residential and commercial plans for structural, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC compliance; identifying code deficiencies; recording review comments and results in permitting software; coordinating with city staff and applicants; and conducting inspections of buildings, signs, and other structures or sites under construction, alteration, or repair. The firm must demonstrate relevant ICC residential and commercial inspection certifications and provide copies of required certifications with its proposal. Services are to be provided remotely, with city office space unavailable. City facilities may be used when needed for meetings with property owners or their authorized agents. The proposal must include an executive summary, company background, at least three comparable Georgia client references, a separate cost proposal, and the required completed forms. The contract is for one year, with up to three additional annual extensions at the city's option.
