Description
The Victorville Water District seeks a contractor to maintain Percolation Pond 14 on an as-needed basis during the annual contract period. Work includes mobilization and demobilization, removal of vegetation from the pond sides and bottom, excavation of approximately 1–2 feet of bottom material, on-site stockpiling of spoils, and ripping the entire pond basin to a depth of 6–8 inches to restore and maximize percolation rates. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, operators, GPS machine-control equipment, dust control as needed, and coordination with District staff. Requested maintenance must be performed within two weeks, with written notice before mobilization and after completion. This is a public works project subject to California prevailing-wage, apprenticeship, contractor licensing, DIR registration, certified payroll, CARB fleet-compliance, waste-diversion, insurance, and subcontracting requirements. The bid requires a 10% bid guarantee; performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract price are required upon award. The solicitation also requires completion of the listed bid forms, certifications, subcontractor information, fleet documentation, and addenda acknowledgment.
