Description
The City of Florence, Kentucky, has approved a change of concept development plan for an approximately 2.53-acre area located at 7544 Burlington Pike. The approval allows Bluegrass Backyard Recreations LLC to display and sell outdoor furniture, sheds, playsets, and other items within a Commercial Two / Planned Development / Parkway Corridor Study Overlay (C-2/PD/PO) District. The development must be consistent with the revised Concept Development Plan received on March 17, 2026. Outdoor display is limited to specific fenced areas with inventory caps on cabins, sheds, garages, gazebos, pavilions, swing sets, basketball goals, deer blinds, and poly furniture. Lighting is restricted to motion-sensor security lights with a maximum height of 10 feet. Signage is limited to specific building facades and the existing pole sign cannot be increased in area or height.
