Description
Cherokee Nation Businesses is soliciting an elevator contractor for a comprehensive modernization of 13 traction passenger elevators, two hydraulic passenger elevators, and two escalators at Williams Center Towers 1 and 2. The work includes replacement or refurbishment of elevator drive machines, controllers, ropes, door operators, safety devices, fixtures, wiring, emergency communications, and related electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, generator, patching, painting, and code-compliance work. The two escalators will receive major alterations, including new drive machinery, motors, brakes, controllers, wiring, steps, chains, tracks, handrails, balustrades, decking, skirts, safety devices, and operating fixtures while retaining the existing structural trusses and floor-plate frames. Bidders must provide completed bid sheets, a project schedule, contract signature sheets, billing rates, maintenance pricing, clarifications or exceptions, five similar references, resource information, and project-management and sequencing information. The solicitation also includes interim maintenance during modernization, 12-month warranty maintenance, and continuing maintenance pricing. A payment and performance bond and a maintenance performance bond are required; a bid bond is not required. Insurance certificates must accompany the bid, with specified workers’ compensation, general liability, automobile liability, and conditional pollution and professional liability coverages.
