The 22nd District Agricultural Association is soliciting a single contractor to provide comprehensive elevator and escalator services, including preventive maintenance, inspections, testing, diagnostics, routine repairs, emergency response, out-of-scope repairs, replacement parts, reporting, technical support, and staff training. The equipment includes passenger elevators, a dumbwaiter, a wheelchair lift, and an escalator. The contractor must maintain qualified directly employed technicians, a local replacement-parts inventory, 24-hour answering service, and specified response times, including 30 minutes for passenger entrapments and other event-related emergencies and one hour for complete elevator outages and escalator outages during events. Minimum qualifications include at least five years of comparable experience in the greater San Diego market, a local service or operations office, at least ten technicians in that market, California authorization and licensing, and current C-11, CQCC, and CCCM credentials as applicable. Proposals must include a technical proposal, signed cover letter, required questionnaire responses and attachments, current insurance evidence, and separate pricing. The contract term is 24 months with three one-year renewal options, and the resulting agreement requires payment and performance bonds at 100% of the agreement price when applicable.
