The City of Florence, Kentucky is amending its personnel ordinance (Ordinance O-17-2026) to update job descriptions, authorized positions, and the pay plan for fiscal year 2026-2027. Key changes include adding one position for Fire/EMS Lieutenant (Paramedic), providing an additional step adjustment for employees impacted by increased pension health insurance contribution requirements under Senate Bill 10, and revising the pay plan as detailed in Exhibits A, B, and C. The ordinance was passed on first reading on June 9, 2026, and on second reading on June 16, 2026.
