Description
Maricopa County is soliciting multiple contractors to provide access to permitted third-party landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities, and other approved disposal facilities. The scope includes disposal, transportation, separation, processing, recycling, and beneficial reuse of green and landscaping waste, mixed municipal and residential waste, recyclables, construction debris, concrete, asphalt, tires, industrial waste, medical waste, asbestos, liquids, sludge, agricultural waste, and other listed materials. Contractors must maintain all required federal, state, local, and county permits and licenses, comply with EPA, Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, and 40 CFR Part 258 requirements, and provide the equipment and operational capabilities necessary for transfer-station services. Bidders must submit facility locations and unit pricing for the listed waste categories and fees. The County may make multiple awards, by item, group, section, or geographic area, and the existing contract Serial #200180 will be canceled upon award of the replacement contract.
