Description
Chemung County is soliciting sealed bids for removal and replacement of the shingle roof at the Chemung County Youth Bureau Building. The work includes installation of asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashing, and metal drip edge. Bids must be submitted in duplicate, consisting of one original and one exact copy, and accompanied by bid security equal to 5% of the total base bid in the form of a certified check, bank draft, or bid bond. Plans, specifications, and proposal forms must be obtained through the Empire State Purchasing Group. A pre-bid conference is scheduled at the project site, and technical questions should be directed to the architect identified in the solicitation.
