Description
Onondaga County is soliciting a term contractor to support its petroleum bulk storage program across approximately 65 facilities containing 147 petroleum storage tanks, including 81 registered tanks. Required services include monthly visual inspections of registered tanks; annual preventative maintenance inspections; annual cathodic protection testing where required; tank tightness testing, sump testing, and spill-bucket testing as needed; and recommendations for tank maintenance and repair. The contractor must also develop or update Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans, provide annual SPCC training, prepare related electronic and hard-copy deliverables, supply tank signage and color coding, and perform limited maintenance and repair services. The contract includes allowances for technician and engineering services, with work authorized through County purchase orders. Insurance and New York prevailing-wage requirements apply.
