Description
The City of Syracuse is assembling a qualified pool of inspectors to provide radon and healthy homes services for residential properties under its lead grant program. The scope includes testing homes for radon gas, installing mitigation systems, monitoring radon emissions, preparing action plans, performing field and administrative work, reporting, and providing related training or certifications in accordance with certified AARST or applicable local and state standards. Respondents must demonstrate certification through the National Radon Safety Board or the National Radon Proficiency Program, knowledge of laboratory analysis, measurement data, and applicable federal radon requirements, and the capability to perform similar work. Submissions must include a firm overview, project approach, qualifications and similar project experience, project team information with certifications, licenses, and resumes, at least three similar-project references, and the required disclosure and compliance forms. The resulting contract is for four years from execution, with two one-year renewal options.
