Description
Fisheries and Oceans Canada is seeking one qualified supplier for a National Individual Standing Offer covering professional coastal imaging, ShoreZone habitat classification, shoreline assessment, and related data services across Canada. The work includes low-altitude aerial photography, video and ground-truthing surveys; physical, geomorphological, and biological shoreline mapping; identification of vulnerable species and habitats; intertidal and subtidal surveys; wave-exposure and oil-residency analysis; geodatabase and shapefile development; metadata, scripts, reports, backups, and publication of open data products on publicly accessible GIS-enabled platforms. The contractor must provide the required field equipment and perform non-field work off-site, with field locations specified in individual call-ups. The solicitation seeks a team including a GIS specialist, geomorphologist, senior biologist, and designated lead resource. Mandatory criteria require demonstrated experience in coastal imaging and habitat classification, ShoreZone aerial surveys, ground surveys, geodatabase compilation, public data dissemination, and recent workshops or training. The offer must include technical, financial, and prescribed declaration materials; the standing offer is for one supplier, has no guaranteed volume, and may generate call-ups of up to $400,000 each. The standing offer period runs from issuance through September 30, 2031, while individual call-up periods and deliverables will be established separately.
