Description
The New York State Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to perform mobile LiDAR data collection for multiple projects throughout New York State. The work combines vehicle-mounted laser scanners, Global Navigation Satellite Systems, and an inertial measurement system, with collection performed at posted state highway speeds while minimizing impacts to traffic. NYSDOT will provide survey control for existing project targets; the vendor will not be responsible for establishing survey control. Subcontracting is not allowed, and bidders must be prequalified. The contract term is September 2026 through December 2026. The opportunity identifies businesses that received identical or substantially similar contracts within the past five years, including NV5 Geospatial, Control Point Associates, Langan, Tectonic Engineering, Colliers Engineering & Design, and MJ Engineering & Land Surveying.
