Description
The City of Redondo Beach is soliciting proposals from California-licensed architecture, engineering, and land surveying consultants to provide as-needed professional design services. Potential disciplines include municipal and civil engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering, harbor engineering, structural and geotechnical engineering, traffic analysis, architecture, landscape architecture, surveying, and mapping. Ancillary services may include field investigations, grant applications and administration, regulatory permitting, design review and plan checking, right-of-way acquisition, bid support, capital improvement program project management, construction management, materials testing, and construction observation or inspection. The City anticipates awarding contracts to multiple firms and is not obligated to issue any task or guarantee payment. Work will be authorized through written task requests and approved task proposals. The agreement is anticipated to run through December 2028, with a maximum potential contract amount of $200,000 per consultant. Proposals must include a transmittal letter, statement of qualifications, quality assurance/quality control approach, at least three recent public-agency references, a fee schedule, and the completed Discipline Checklist, submitted as a bookmarked PDF through the City's online procurement portal.
