Description
Lompoc Unified School District is soliciting bids for the replacement of a storefront system at Cabrillo High School. The project includes demolition and abatement of one section of existing storefront, installation of a new storefront system, and all associated labor and materials. This is a pilot project to determine cost and best practices before performing the same scope on the remaining storefront systems at the school. The project must be completed during winter break, between December 21, 2026, and January 8, 2027. The contractor must possess a valid California contractor's license, Classification B, and be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit was held on August 26, 2026. Bids are due electronically through PlanetBids by September 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. PDT.
