Description

The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission is soliciting a lump-sum bid for demolition-only work at the Natomas Station and Layover Facility. The scope includes demolition and removal of two concrete tilt-up warehouse/office buildings totaling approximately 30,240 square feet; hazardous-material abatement involving lead, asbestos, PCBs, oils, refrigerants, and hazardous chemicals; utility disconnection and abandonment; removal and disposal of fencing, gates, vehicles, equipment, parts, and miscellaneous site materials; debris hauling; temporary site security with continuous 24-hour patrol; final cleanup; permanent chain-link fencing with slats; required permits; regulatory compliance; and closeout documentation. The contractor must prepare a site-specific Health and Safety Plan, hazardous-material handling and transportation plan, demolition schedule, pre-demolition engineering survey and structural assessment, stormwater pollution prevention plan, and required waste, recycling, disposal, utility, and regulatory records. The project duration is 120 days, with work commencing within 10 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. An A and/or B California contractor's license, applicable public-works and Department of Industrial Relations registration, a current California Statement of Information, a signed IRS Form W-9, and proof of non-debarment or non-suspension are required. Electronic submission is required through the SJRRC Vendor Portal, with a 10% bid bond and 100% payment and performance bonds.
