Description
The San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority is seeking a single contractor to purchase, supply, and deliver bulk oils, grease, coolant, and other vehicle lubricants for engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems at its Bus Maintenance Facility. Required products include ATF, 85W-140, 50/50 coolant/antifreeze, 15W40, 5W20, and NLGI #2 grease meeting the stated minimum specifications. The contractor must provide bi-weekly deliveries, maintain minimum storage levels, unload products into the appropriate tanks or drums using trained personnel, manage ordering and replenishment, and handle rejected or contaminated fluids and spills at its own expense. The proposal must include a fluid-sampling protocol supporting extended replacement schedules while meeting manufacturer warranty requirements. The contractor must provide California-compliant products, qualified and properly endorsed delivery drivers, required permits and certifications, delivery records, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental and transit regulations. The contract has a three-year base term with two one-year extension options, for a possible five-year term.
