Description
The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority is soliciting bids for the delivery of regular unleaded gasoline and R99 or R100 renewable diesel to the Highway 59 Landfill and Billy Wright Landfill. Deliveries will support the authority’s fleet vehicles and equipment and will include varying full-load and short-load quantities ordered periodically or on an emergency basis. The contractor must maintain sufficient fuel inventory, use clean trucks dedicated to motor-fuel delivery, meet applicable ASTM, California Air Resources Board, San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, federal, state, and manufacturer specifications, and provide deliveries within the required schedules. The contract is anticipated to run from October 19, 2026, through October 18, 2029, with up to three additional one-year extensions. Pricing will use the OPIS Gross Contract Low unbranded price for Stockton, California, plus applicable taxes, fees, and the contractor’s markup.
