Description
Dane County is soliciting applications from municipalities located within the county for implementation-ready planning and policy activities that remove barriers to affordable housing production and preservation. Eligible activities include zoning and land-use updates, permitting and inspection process improvements, building-code reforms, fee restructuring, housing incentive programs, community engagement, and related planning or policy work. Funds may not be used for land acquisition, construction, infrastructure installation, or site-specific development costs. Applicants may request between $15,000 and $150,000, and previously funded projects or activities are ineligible for duplicate funding. Applications must demonstrate implementation readiness, including completion of at least 60% of project milestones within 18 months and all milestones within 24 months of the application deadline. Required materials include a logic-model workbook, detailed project budget, narrative responses, experience and qualifications information, consultant agreements and collaboration letters where applicable, a completed milestone workbook, municipality and contact information, a recently signed W-9, and required certifications and acknowledgments. The application must be submitted electronically through the County's eProcurement Portal.
