Description
The Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is seeking professional services from a qualified multidisciplinary consulting team to prepare a Community Structure Plan (CSP) for approximately 270 hectares of new urban areas. The work will establish an integrated framework for land use planning, community design, infrastructure, sustainability, natural heritage, parks and open spaces, housing, employment, and mobility, and will guide subsequent Secondary Plans and detailed studies. The CSP will support a Town-initiated Official Plan Amendment and include technical background studies, coordination with the Region of York, City of Markham, relevant ministries, and the Toronto Region Conservation Authority, and consultation with the public, landowners, agencies, and other stakeholders. The successful team must prepare a final work plan before project commencement. The stated contract duration is 18 months.
